I just bought this potted brug. It looks like there are 5 different brugs in one pot. Should I leave the plants like they are or try to plant 5 different brugs?
Not sure what to do
Marilyn, I don't know what to tell you about your plant.Someone else may be able to help.
I did get you some cuttings in the mail this morning.Sent tnem priority,so watch for them. Hope they do well for you. Melba
Thanks Melba I appreciate that, with all that you have to do to get ready to move.

Marilyn...I think I would take it out of the pot and if it is really not connected then I would separate them if they are not. Five brugs would be too many for that small a container anyway.
That is what I would do!
Margie
I bet they were cuttings all from the same plant. I do that. Then never get around to separating them. Depends on what look you want, Marilyn. If you want a multi stemmed bush, leave it as it is. But if not, I would check the roots like Margie suggested. If not rootbound, try to pull them apart. If root bound I would take a knife and separate them out, giving the bigger plants more root. Then repot in their own pot and put them in shade for a couple of weeks till they recover. Brugs are pretty hardy and you have the right time of year on your side.
You can always just cut them off and reroot them also. Good luck. You sure got a goods pot of them!!
I liked having lots of brugs when I was just beginning and I would have put them in separate pots, and, or rooted some of them. I tried to do as many different things as possible last year, so I'd know how things work in the event that I had to make a quick decision about a special brug...
Well I decided to plant them all together. When I cut the pot off of the plant the roots were so entwined I was afraid it might damage them. Also there are several blooms on them. Don't have an ID for the plant it was just labeled as a peach color.
Marilyn...Probably a good choice, especially if you are putting them in the ground. They will have plenty of room to spread!
