*2 pounds of figs (about 3&1/2 cups cut up and peeled)
*1/2 cups pecans
*3&3/8 cups granulated sugar
*1/2 pounds raisins
*1 orange, peeled
*Cut all in small pieces and cook down until thick (about 1 hour) Blanch pecans about 5 minutes in boiling water before adding to figs. Cool conserve 5 minutes before adding pecans. Pour into hot jars, leaving about 1/4 inch head space. Process in hot water bath for 15 minutes. Yields about 7 half pint jars
