It looks like 'cv. 'Albata' has bleach white glochids that are 'furrier' and the areoles are closer set than the 'albispina' variety. Do you know where I might obtain a starter piece of this?

I could check with the curators next time I visit; I was merely a visitor enjoying the sites. :)

In the meantime, here's a lower pic of the plant (along with its placard) which might give you a better idea of how it looks since the first pic focused on the bloom.
