I do grow this one. It's new this year (2005) from Joe Ghio, so I don't know how it grows yet. However, it seems to be taking off just fine in my garden. I would think you'd have good luck with it (being a CA intro) in your climate.

Thanks for the compliment. I've enjoyed many of your pictures as well. That pic was actually taken at Cooley's Garden in Silverton, OR. It was in the guest beds for the 2006 AIS tour. I do have the plant growing in my own garden, though.
