Hey, Annie. Isn't it neat? Yes I did resist buying it, but only because I'm broke after buying some other cacti. Too bad. I guess I'll admire it from the pics for now. There are so many that I wanted to get in Bach's but can't afford yet. Maybe that will give me an excuse to go back next year.

I know what you mean! LOL, I'm also a Caudiciform collector, and THAT is an expensive habit!!!! I just bought 4, the rest will have to wait a few months for sure now!! Annie

Now those are pricey! Caudiciforms are so neat, but I really haven't venture there yet. I heard they are quite challenging to grow. The closest things I have to them are adenium and the pony tail palms. What kinds did you get?

Castro Valley, CA(Zone 9a)

I bought Adenia glauca and Ipomoca bolusiana and Pachypodium brevicaule and Pachypodium gracilius, I love rare and unusual plants! I have 2 pony tail palms with huge caudiforms, a friend was helping me move them and grabbed them by the tail, sigh, never recouped, but I have lots of babies on the side, I had them for 18 years!!!!

Sounds interesting. I forgot all about my three Pachypodiums and a jatropha podadrica. Shame on me.

Pony tails for 18 years? Wow, they must be pretty big. Do you plant them out side? I don't think mine can withstand the cold here.

Some of those caudiciforms looks so nice in a bonsai pot. I think that's how I'm going to treat mine if I ever get new ones. Trent

They are in pots, I've replanted them a couple of times, it is just so sad that the main top is now gone, and yes, they are huge, I'll try and take more pics

From now on it will become a multi-stemmed specimen, I guess. That can be very interesing too, but still, sorry about that. Would love to see more of your pics.

Anytime, Annie. Have fun with the dreaded house work, and hope you have a good time with your company. I usually don't mind companies, but I hate house works also. Trent

Ya, LOL, I love company, then I get to cook really good stuff, my play single girlfriend of 25 years met my DH's friend of 30 some years, 17 years ago, fell in love, married soon after, visiting us from Southern Cal, yeppie, I better make this brake short, Annie
