I've opened a Prayer Forum thread for DonnaB with an update on her condition.
She came through surgery well but there is a long recovery time. I'm sure prayers, cards and letters would be appreciated.

Just a short note of thanks all that have sent cards and well wishes. I'm stlll in a lot of pain.. Nothing seem to help , just barely takes the edge off. Will be back as soon as I can.

DonnaB, I know you are going through a lot of pain now, especially as they get you up and moving. My husband was there last August, but after several weeks, he was free of pain and on the mend. Do all the physical therapy you are given, what you push for now will reward you later!
Donna, with each week it will get better. It takes time to mend but it will be worth it in the end. Pain and discomfort are unfortunately a part of it and I hope it subsides soon for you. On pretty days, I hope you are able to sit outside for brief periods and look at your flowers and watch all the wildlife that you care for.
