Anyday now.
Waiting for Cleopatra
Cleopatra is one of my favorites! I love the random color patterns on the leaves and flowers! Mine were just planted so I'll be waiting a lot longer! LOL
I am just about to mine in my garden. I hesitate for here they just take over the yard. This and white callas are ruthless here. I will be so unhappy I did next year when I am digging it up from all over. But I still think I will. I have never seen a big clump of it. I hope mine gets lot sof splotches!!! Anyone know how tall this one gets?
I have a bud too Rylaff. I can't wait to see it!!
One of my favorites too. The varying color patterns are so neat.
Plant Delights lists it at 50". I would say mine have reliably grown 3-4'.
Thanks Chele. Now I have the push to go plant it. I got mine at a farmer's market last year. I was just cleaning it up yesterday, taking off the dried leaves. Doing spring cleaning!!
LOL! I am headed out to the farm for some poo! I let hubby get a jeep and I really wanted a truck. Now the kids get to ride home with a trunk full of rubbermaid buckets full of Eau d'horsie. :)
And who gets to dig it and fill those buckets? I knew there was a reason for having so many kids. LOL
LOL Kell! The owner and I did it, city style though. :) She has a 'Gator'. We threw the buckets on, drove it around back, scooped up the poo into the buckets and drove them back to the car. We spent most of the 7 hours we were there watching the kids play while we visited on the deck. She is coming here next weekend to get plants. I think I like this deal! It is really nice poo too! It was older and seasoned, completely no smell and lit was like scooping peat!
Please post a pic when she blooms! :-)
Oh I wish I had a poo friend like you do, Chele!
This is my first time ever to have a poo friend. I hope the friendship lasts longer than the poo. :)
Lisa, are your flowers open yet?? I just realized we have been being really bad on your thread. Sorry. Do many of your leaves have the red splotches?
That is so funny - the thing about the "poo buddies".
