Need plants for Texas heat

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I am looking for plants to fill a prayer garden. I have had a few donations that I can offer but nothing plant wise. Half full sun, half sun and shade 15x15 ft square. I am thinking zebra and madien grass, and purple, pink and white flowered things. I need somewhere in the area of 50 plants so I need help! I do have the following I can send in trade or postage. LMK

1. painting of Junk by L.Chcng rolled 12in x16in ish
2. confederate postal stamp framed mint - TRADED
3. one troy oz Mexican Silver coins
4. WWII photo album with lots of army photos
5. various world postage stamps
6. US troy silver dollar in case
7. several old photo cards
8 Salesman sample cotton bales
9. wooden nickels

Thanks if you have anything - if not thanks for reading. I know this is an odd request but just wondering. All the area has right now is an Oven Wattle! LOL

Hey Mitch,

Are we going to be meeting in TX next week when I'm there? I'll be around Granbury, about 45 minutes from Dallas. I think someone is planning a get together. Were you going to that? If so, I can bring you some stuff. I have maiden grass. And I'm sure I have other stuff you can use too. If you want to private message me, we can discuss what plants I have that might fit your theme.

Mitch,
Let me check the yard today and see what I can send. How's the Bamboo doing? Mine looks awful. Ruth

Ruth - same here, not looking to good at all. I only have one with any green left at all. Oh well worth a shot right? Mitch

Oooo, 75154, perennial purple verbena would look lovely in your spot. And, it blooms its heart out! Don't know how to prop it, other than seed though...anyone else? And white, how about Bacopa? Or Iberis? Both are lovely, and pure white. Again, don't know how to prop it though......=/

I think I've mentioned before--I drive through "parts" every time I visit my Grannie in Waxahachie. =)

Yes we are going to meet up some time right? Maybe I can head down to Waxahachie to meet up sometime. They all are wonderful plants but on the whole I dont prop much myself. But I will keep looking for how - any help out there?

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Can I send you some? If so, send me an email.
