Cooking fish eggs? (Roe)

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Roe, roe, roe your boat .... ♫ ;>)

My DD and I got to go on the river catfishing this past week! We slayed 'em! Came home with a total of 25 fish (including 4 fat brim!) (Bream, to some of ya'll.) (Also caught, by accident, 3 turtles but were able to turn them loose!)

When cleaning the fish I decided to save all the eggs! Zowie! We have half a quart bag full!

My friend up the road once mentioned she would fry them up (hence my decision to save them). However I was not given any special instructions. Does anyone cook roe other than making caviar w/them? Seems like they could be cleaned, battered (?) and fried? Or do any of ya'll have a special way of using this bounty?
