this was suppose to be 'marrabeck'.........looks to pink to me.......do ya'll think it is 'marrabeck'?
opinions wanted
The only picture I've seen of one called Marrabeck, has been a yellow/peach color. There is one called Merrakech also, but it looks kind of peachy in the picture I saw of it.

Thanks i didnt think it was it.......its going to the dump.
Don't you hate it when you grow one out for a year only to find you were sent the wrong brug. And then to get Frosty instead. One year I had so many Frosties growing I could not believe it.
The real name is Marrakesch. Its a peach colored versicolor x candida cross and originates from Marrakesch in Tunesia. Its a lazy bloomer.
I'm glad you have put down the correct spelling, Monika. With it spelled so many ways, it appears to be more than one brug. LOL!
yeah... mislabeled plants of anything is getting to be a pain. I had finally settled in with growers who were consistent, so the only problem with mislabeled plants were things I did. (like what I thought was a Gray Dogwood seedling I had moved out of the baby bed, nurtured for 3 years then last year it had a few blooms. Well that's cool. Then I had 2 Golden Delicious apples! Bonehead me running around in the spring pruning and jamming stuff in the mud here and there and then forgetting. This spring's surprise - one of the Sambucus Sutherland's Gold took from last year and I had forgot about it!!)
Dona, she's pretty though...gosh :-)
LOL Blaine!
