Fandango in the Winterhouse

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

My brugs are still in their winterquarters because of the cold, we had in the past. They are budding and flowering. The fragrance in the winterhouse at night is overwhelming.
The flowers of Fandango have only a hint of color right now.

Monika, Just lovely.

Beautiful Monika.
This must be that time of year you look forward to as we all do. Waiting & Wanting to get them outdoors into the ground.... The scent in the winter house must make it that much more difficult. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Both are gorgeous Monika.

We are in winter/spring mode here also. Afraid to plant them in the ground, would be a lot of working covering all. Sigh........

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thank you all for your nice replies.
Apparently we all have the same problem with the winter, which doesnt want to leave! I hope, that summer will come soon for all of us.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

They are both beautiful Monika.
It is cold here also but the blooms in the GH adds a touch of spring even with the cold temps outside.
I can't wait to see your gardens again this summer.

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

Terry, my garden looks different this summer. After the removal of the large pine trees last fall, the Allee has room for 22 Brugmansia Trees. It makes me glad, that I have in golden yellow and in orange flowering Trees again for the Allee.

Fandango, I think is my favorite. Both are just beautiful. But in the long run ... it is us that give many thanks to you!

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I thought the color of Fandango on that first pic was quite pretty - white with a touch of mocha. I like those colors.

Those are both lovely Monika. I sure hope your weather warms up soon so they can be put outdoors. I'm sure the wintergarten smells incredible.

Syracuse, NY

Hi Monica such a joy tosee that picture here in upstate n.y. unless you have a greenhouse we do not enjoy flowes until summer. My brugs have been in the ground for about 4 weeks in suspended animaTtion but the are all alive hopefully it will warm up and stay there. Bob

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thank you Bob. A Greenhouse is very helpful in our cool climate.
Spring was cold this year. I hope, that last week was the last frost days.

Mc Call Creek, MS

Monika, they are both absolutely gorgeous! We've been 94 degrees for about the last week and dry, dry, dry. 'Wishing for some moderation in our weather too.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Monika, your blooms are beautiful in your winter quarter. You have so many lovely ones and it would be very difficult for me to pick favorites. I hope you and Karyn get your spring weather soon. Our spring is over and now it is very hot.....low to mid 90's.
