Clerodendren bungei
Tell me about clerodendrens, I don't see them here, it is it a shrub, from your photo it almost looks herbaceous. My zone isn't totally accurate, our last winters have been very mild but we can get much colder like zone 7.Are you looking for anything in particular?
By the way, interesting name you have, am I too nosy but I am curious as to its significance/meaning?

i love this plant, it multiplies like crazy, and dies down in our zone, comes back ferocious in spring, the flowers look like something out of dr.suess.
its in the same family as the bleeding heart vine.
i'm looking for exotic vines, anything quirky..............
Hmmm, I don't blame you about the exotic vines, I have grown a few but they never winter here like the Mexican flame vine or blue sky vine. I do have about 5 tiny tiny little asarinas in the GH. I have akebia quinata growing out on a trellis. I will see if it has any babies. I campsis radicans too and I love it. It usually sends up babies too. I sure would like to try your clerodendrum. If all else fails would you try some dahlias?
Do you have more than one for trade. If you do, I am interested. I don't have any vines except a sweet little trumpet creeper that is just waiting to take over your yard! But, I do have toad lilies, ginger lilies, hostas, zillions of Rudebeckia, Shasta Daisies, Some antique double/apricot day lilies, dahlias, elephant ears, obedient plant, mallow, money plant, ginger, antique lilies of unknown variety, achillia, artemesia, antique columbine, tropicanna canna, sweet shrub...anything sound tempting?

I would feel better waiting till the little asarinas to do some growing which they are finally taking off these past few days. If you are limited in how many clerodendrens you have, please feel free to trade with the others. But I will definitely hope to have an asarina for you within the month.
