Is this?

Newbie here, is this a seed pod or a bloom? If it's a seed pod do I leave it on the plant or can I remove it and plant the seeds to start new plants?

Looks like a bloom to me...But if I'm wrong you would still leave it on the plane for a while...I'm pretty sure from the pic. that it's a bloom. good luck

Depends on your weather and temps your having. Don't get to anxious but if you place a flashlight behind the Bud you can see how far the bloom is down the calyx

Wow that's great. I will check it out tonight. We are having very warm weather in the upper 80's,high humidity and cool evenings in the upper 60's.

I think with the temps that Marilyn is having she shouldn't have that much of a long wait. Your brug is looking good and please post a pic. when she blooms. Ahhh first time baby pictures always a pleasure.

I have been reading about slugs and snails getting on brugs. I wonder if getting them drunk on Bud Lite might be an answer to that problem. Although a waste of a good Bud.

LOL Marilyn! Give it a try, heck lol! Hear that sand is good to put down on the top soil, but I could be wrong...lol or Salt :-)

Definitely looks like a bud to me. It won't be too long and you will be posting a picture for all to see. For you, it will probably see like forever for that first bud to open.......lol

gotta say I'm reallllly liking this thread. Can't go wrong with a bunch that appreciates:

Bud
Buds
Bud Light (for checking the calyx progress or slugs in the dark)
Bud Lite (to counter balance the Bud Light since you're stumbling around in the dark anyway checking to see if the Bud has opened)
Bud LiteS (because it might be awhile before it opens but you don't want to miss it and the batteries on your Bud Light will wear out sooner if you're using it to navigate back and forth to the fridg)

lol! Looks like to me you got yer-self a brug bud...watch for it to slowly emerge from the calyx...when it's finally out all the way, then go out and park a chair in the darkness with you camera and flashlight in tow...Congrats sweetie! It's a beautiful Thang!

or buddy
and then take a picture so we can see
