Whoa! Stay safe. You guys can't get a break from the weather over there in Kansas this year.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

We're having storms also. This is the second one this evening.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

We were supposed to hat 90 degree temp today but it didn't get that hot and the humidity was tolerable too. Your weather looks serious Root, hope it all bark and no bite. Your Arborea is so sweet and healthy looking, she appears to love where she lives. It surely looks shady there, your yarden is beautiful!!! I love the stormy photo and the flag!!!!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I'm back on,no damage,it went through quick.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Oh Rooty,

She is 'simply' stunning.

My Arborea buds are about 1 1/2 in long now.

Seems like it takes forever when you watch them so closely.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

You have that right,I have been watchin this for more then a month.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

She reminds me of Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn.

Stunning in her simplicity .

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

I just recently received a versi brugmansia and it's finally bloomming, but it's not smelling. I thought it was supposed to smell alot. Is my nose not working or what? LOL It only has one bloom open.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Thanks Shirley! Silver,I have never had a Versi open here,so I do not know if they smell, this will be the last year for the one I have,it is bloom or hit the road.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Doc, I'm going to need a lovely nighttime shot of a flower if you can manage it:-) Something to dream on for tonight...

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

sliver, I had a Versi Peach last year and it smelled like heaven and had huge, fat blossoms, we loved her and I rooted a second one - both wintered outside, but they are still too small to bloom, they weren't crazy about the cold spring. Good luck with yours, I hope you enjoy her as much as we did, she's my hubby's favorite...

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

My pleasure Clare,I gave her a HUGE sniff for you.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Very pretty Root. Thanks!
I was just reading tonight that Arborea actually changes into a brighter, almost luminescent shade of white at night but during the day, kind of fades to a flatter shade I guess. Can you really tell the difference?

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Very interesting! Thanks again, Doc.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I remember very well that this is one of your very favorites. Glad that you are already able to enjoy the blooms this season.

Weather has been something else this year. Sunday, we had horrible wind and a few small twisters and rain. It tore down wood fences in my area and broke hugh branches out of oak trees. A number of roads were impassable because of branches that were well over 10" tall that had fallen on the roads. The wind was so bad that my daughter and I were looking for a safe place to get into inside the house. Things going on outside were so frightening and reminded me of a few bad hurricanes that we have had in the past. and it was frightening to look outside. We had no electricity and could not even hear the news to see what was going on. Crazy weather!!!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Beautiful RD, I have 2 Arborea, neither has ever bloomed. Maybe soon (fingers crossed). Thanks for the pics.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I never have noticed that Blaine. I will have to look more carefully.

Root, that pot is perfect for her. Monica did well finding those at that price. Is this one I sent you? Didn't someone else have a different arborea?
