I am excited to have my first color bloom. Last year I was given a brug that bloomed and I got the bug - the brug bug. It was white and bloomed in January - inside. A friend from the country gave me several plants and I have planted them around the house. She didn't know any names of them or what colors they might be.
I received some plants from Kris and they are potted and planted and ready to do their thing - I do have names for those. Kell send me some seeds and they are trying to be big boys -
in the mean time - just when I got the brug bug - I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It all got put on the shelf - chemo is almost done - and I want to get those flowers to blooming.
God has blessed me and I am going to get back to those flower beds soon.
In the mean time - anyone know what my brug would be named?

What brug do I have?
Beverly, I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. I'll say a little prayer that everything will be fine when all is said and done.
As for the brug in the picture, it's so hard to tell anymore because so many look alikes are out there now. 5 years ago, that one could probably have safely been identified. Whatever it is, just enjoy it because before long you will find yourself thinning the herd. They just get bigger and better each time a new one comes out.
Have a wonderful summer.
Beverly that is a lovely flower regardless of the name, and my prayers go with you in the health department. good luck.
Doris
Beautiful bloom Beverly, enjoy. Does it smell good? I have several that have that same look, and it is just not possible to name it.
Hope that you will continue to improve and enjoy your garden.
Sounds like you are sure ready for some beautiful blooms, Beverly. I am so sorry you have had such a tough time. It looks like a Frosty type. They are usually very prolific bloomers. I bet it puts on a good show for you all summer.
I thought the same thing, a frosty pink or maybe insignus pink? I have both and one has a darker pink than the other.
Beverly, my prayers are with you...and your bloom looks awesome. I hope that things go well for you and for your garden...God Bless!
Its beautiful call her that.Sorry your going thru the chemo. prayers... blessings.. Twyla
Beverly, look at the first photo in "Plants going to Ga", Isabella looks a lot like yours.
Thank you to each who have responded. I am enjoying the beauty of her and there are many buds to open.
Thank you all for your prayers - only prayers have brought me this far. My first diagnosis was terminal. We are all terminal -only God knows our time. My chemo has not been bad and it is 3/4 complete. This last treatment was the most down one to me, but I am better this week and ready to face my next one next week. Two more to go! PTL!! His Grace is sufficent.
Beverly
