First orange i've seen

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I've had this creamsicle for about 2 years..i was beginning to think that it being a double orange was a joke, all i've ever seen on it was double white.
Oh well, not the best picture, but it sure excited me, which lately doesnt seem to take much, lol

Oh, goody...mine is just a creamy white which is OK with me, too!!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

I just love that one. It is very pretty.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

that color does remind me of a creamsicle. yum, yum

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh so pretty.......I love it when Creamsickle gets that color. All summer, mine stay white and then in the cooler fall, I will get the color change.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

This is the first time its done this........does it like shade?? I carried it to the relay for life with me (big mistake) and only made it half way through the yard with it. Its not in a relatively shady area....is that what made it turn orange?

Beautiful and feminine, I love it!!!

Just wish they would all turn orange. After seeing the orange, i can see why the hybridizer kept it, i just dont understand why its the first orange that i've seen. It makes a gorgeous double white, but i already have 3 of them, lol

Jen, are you keeping this one in part shade? Mine is in full sun and maybe I need to take a cutting and grow it in the morning sun only or dappled sun. It might be interesting to try different locations with this one I sure love color it when it gets color.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Mine had been in full sun but its been in a pretty shady area for about 2 weeks because i've been to lazy to put it back, lol.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

that is realy pretty

This was its last year here, i'm really glad for its sake that it did show something.
Well, i really cant say that...i have candida double white, enchanted? or is it hawaiian? and one more that i dont remember.
the creamsicle does put out a huge flower with a scent that cant be touched.
so as a white double its fantastic, one of the best bloomers i have but i hate knowing that its supposed to be one thing and does something different. Maybe it has saved itself from the compost bin.

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)

Please save its seeds for me... : )

I hate it when people say they are going to "compost a brug"!!! There are so many Brug starved people out here!!!

So this fall I'll drive down to Gulfport and bring back those you don't want to winter over.... or when you get ready to move, whichever comes first.
