color question

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

I bought my first Brug last week. The tags were pretty general, only giving the color. I bought what was marked as a pink Brug, but the blooms have started to open and are a yellowish color. Is it possible that they will change to pink as they open more, or did I just buy a mis-marked yellow Brug?

Yes, they sure can change. One of my darkest pink brugs was such a bright yellow for a day. I was shocked the next morning to see her dark pink. Congrats on your first one!!!

The yellow went away and the Brug seems to be white...I wonder if it will change to pink.

I doubt it will change again, but it could. They can even change from the first flush to the second and from the first year to the second.

It changed again! Now it's a salmon color. I'll post a picture later. Thanks everyone for answering a newbie's questions.
