I grow around 500 different cultivars of bearded irises, and I have to say that this one is probably my favorite!

I got this one off of Ebay. There was a place that sold it called Valley Ford Gardens, but their website www.valleyfordgardens.com, has not been up this year. It was introduce by Tompkins in 1993. Schreiner's sells a similar one, also introduced by Tompkins (but in 1991) called "Heavenly Body". I ordered it this year to see how similar it is to this one. Stay tuned!

Okay. I found a source for this iris. It's listed in the Woodland Iris Gardens catalogue. I checked their website, www.iris-garden.com, and it isn't listed online, but they DO have it in their catalogue. Their catalogue only costs $1.00 and the address is:

Modesto, CA 95357
