CLOSED: Have: Yellow blooming Ice Plant

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

The botanical name is Delosperma nubigenum. Here's a photo taken of some hanging out of one of my planters. It's supposed to be a groundcover, but I don't let things like that stop me from experimenting. :~)

I can trade a chunk of pink blooming Delo. for a chunk of your yellow. =)

I have this plant and it blooms Spring, Summer and Fall for me here in HOT Arizona. Only ice plant that does that, that I know of. Love it. Harold

Here's a big mound of it (with a surprise popping up out of the center of it).

I'd love to have some ornamental onions, zinnias, dahlias, or tempt me with a sun-loving, heat tolerant flowering perennial.

Hey, mkj, you're not far from the roundup that's going to be held this coming weekend at Lake Texoma. Wanna swap there? ;)

Southwestern, OH(Zone 6b)

What are you looking for Carla? It looks like a neat plant.

Oh, I'd love to, smiln, but I won't be able to make it......too many little kids, one lovely husband who does NOT want to go to a plant swap. ;-) Ah well......someday. =)

In addition to the pink/fuschia ice plant that I have, I've also got orange blooming dew plant, and a tiny pink blooming variegated dew plant.

I'm leaving the lovely husband who does NOT want to go to a plant swap - and bringing my two kiddos along with me. The tent is airing out in the back yard as I'm typing this.

What is a dew plant? Can you point me to a picture?

If you are talking about lantana. Mine is coming up everywhere from seed. I have had these lantana for years. I try not to let them go to seed because there are somany seeds. I just dug up some and cut a huge one bach, But did not save any. I am going to check propagation forum to see how to root cuttings.

Wowzers... I didn't expect this much interest, but it's kind of fun. :~) Fortunately, this stuff has a real penchant for spreading.

farmerpickle - I just received some variegated bishop's weed in a trade about 2 weeks ago. Perhaps there is something else you might have? We'll work something out.

Ruth - of course you can have some, but you have to drive here to get it. :) I'll send some to you as I owe you for putting me and my girls up for the night last summer.

Sandy - do you have plants, then? I would love one, if so. I'm not much on cuttings as they require a little more attention that I have time for right now.

Melissa - Allium - oh, yeah! I'll get back to you via email.

elyearcrazy - I've been to Foley many times on the way to Gulf Shores. We used to live in Montgomery. Best outlet mall on the planet is in your neck of the woods. If you don't have anything to trade, maybe we can work out something between us via personal email. I'll send you a note.

Kaleem - I will have this in my gardens for some time. Later in the year, I'll see if I can get another box of plants together to send to you.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

I am sure there is a plant out there that has sprung up. I wouldn't send you a cutting as I don't know if they even can be done that way. Let me search one out and get back to you
via e-mail.

Blessings.
