Here is Bleu the dog and my tropical bed in front

For those that think Bleu is a phantom, here is proof he exists and can be a good boy long enough to get his picture taken.

Right Susie....Have you had your medication today?

Ok, I admit, it took 4 dog treats to get him to sit still for that picture.

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

Is Bleu a Weimaraner? He's gorgeous!

Ursula

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Thanks Ursula. yes, he's a weimaraner.

Uh oh, let me see how many doggie treats I have, lol.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Susie, what a beautiful doggie!! Oh yeah, the plants are gorgeous too. LOL

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

In doggie world, I think weimeraner (sp?) are the most beautiful dogs! I had to cover my Kramer's doggie ears. Don't want to hurt his feelings....

Vossner, your Kramer is gorgeous as well!

Weimaraners capture my attention because of their unique colour, but I must confess I know nothing about their character. Could you illustrate me a bit, Calalily? And yes, your plants and your house are beautiful!

I grew up with weimaraners and that is why I don't have one today. LOL..... Really, they are great dogs just too high energy for me right now. Susie do you still have your dobie? Bleu is beautiful and so is your yard.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Ahh poor Bleu, what did you bribe him with to set for that picture? I don't think doggie treats would be enough. lol

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

INNOCENT!!! Look at that face,no way he could hurt any plants!!

Knoxville, TN

You know, you are right Root. Poor Bleu. He is always getting framed for killing plants. I'll bet he tip toes through the garden and is graceful as a swan.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8a)

Bleu is color coordinated to the house, isn't he? A perfect picture. LOL. He is a handsome pup, Suz. I do not believe one bad thing you say about him now. He looks like an angel.

So what is changed in the front since you moved in? I do not remember that whole bed there.

Bleu is a very handsome dog. I just love your tropical bed! Bleu seems to be guarding the landscape so innocently...LOL

Wichita, KS

Not only is Bleu one handsome fella but that tropical bed you have there is GORGEOUS!!!!!!

Are your EE in full sun? How do they hold up?

OK, let's see if I can remember all the questions, lol.
Bleu is still a pup by weimaraner standards, he's a year and a half old. He is very high energy, we walk 2 miles every day. They were bred in Germany to be hunting and companion dogs. They crave human companionship. Bleu follows every step I make while I'm outside but when it's time for his walk, he starts pestering me and barking at me till I get the leash! They are hunting dogs, they chase things. This is part of their nature. He points then flushes the birds at the feeder, lol. He puts his feet on frogs, he chases lizards, mice and anything else he sees. The little pink Mediteranian Geckos that come out at night and crawl on the house walls outside really drive him crazy!
He is good natured, loves to be petted, has BIG feet.
Vossner, your Kramer is so sweet looking!
Peggy, I use bologna, cut into little pieces. It took 4 tries to get him to sit and stay for the picture.
Roselaine, that's a Sago Palm, probably really old. I think I'm winning the battle against the scale that was on my sagos.
Kell, that bed with the ears was full of that widelia stuff, I hated it. I ripped it out and planted elephant ears, crinums and coleus in it.
The bed is part sun, it faces north. It also gets watered at least 2 times a week, sometimes three.
Thanks to everyone for their compliments!

Susie....I just love Bleu, he is beautiful and I bet he is so much fun too. And your home is 'to die for'! Please, keep us updated with pics throughout the summer, I'd love to see your garden changing.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Susie, Bleu is beautiful and very sweet-looking. He looks like he owns the place! What a lucky dog to have such a nice yard and such a nice mommy.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Cala one of these days I'm going to get me a "wei" like Blue. Again, they are the most beautiful dogs. Beautiful house, beautiful plants, beautiful pet. Excellent taste!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Looking good, Suzie!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Susie... beautiful dog... and house.. and plants... I'm jealous!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

All she needs now to complete the picture, Ms Munché, are the 2 of us sunbathing beside her pool in our hot pink bikinis with hibiscus in our long blond hair sipping long iced ones and speaking French. Ne pensez-vous pas?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I think spanish would be spoken there........LOL

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

LOL

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I agree.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

lol.. Kell... after one day of sunbathing at Susie's beautiful place I wouldn't need the hot pink bathing suit as it would be the same color as my skin... I'm a freckled face/body auburn hair (okay.. gray) little fat goil.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hey Ms Munché, we can make believe can't we? LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, I know a few people who speak French here, but most hable espanole. Some from work went to a restaurant on the island, there were those triangle thingies on the table and it was in French. My boss said "That's not English or Spanish, what does it say?" and I said it says "We speak French here." lol
