in search of 'Georges Greek' oregano

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

We've lost our favorite oregano! We picked up 'Georges Greek' at Frank's several years ago, but now they've gone out of business, and I don't know which grower they used. :-( The flavor was intense and fabulous, and we're really, really hoping somebody will be able to help us out!

If anyone has this cultivar and is willing to share, PLMK!

I have some things to offer in trade.... 'Kentucky Colonel' Spearmint, 'Chocolate Peppermint', catnip, English Thyme, Lemon English Thyme, Wedgewood English Thyme (probably; it's just coming up now), also probably 'Hot & Spicy' Greek Oregano (just coming up). I also have some extra seedlings I started this year, including agastache ('Honey Bee White', 'Honey Bee Blue', and 'Heather Queen') and rose campion (regular color and magenta), and I could dig starts or divisions of black-eyed susan, 'Sunrise' Coreopsis (name might have been 'Early Sunrise'), 'Moonbeam' Coreopsis, dwarf Dianthus 'Fire Witch', probably others.... LMK what you're looking for. If the only things I have that you want are seeds, I'd be happy to send seeds plus extra postage.

Thanks!

*bump*

Still looking....

I've picked up a Greek Mountain Oregano, and IO1 is sending me a rooted cutting of her favorite one (thanks!), but I'd still love to find the 'Georges Greek' cultivar.

Anyone?
