I have such high hopes

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I have been calling this one Ruthie since last year. It is huge one. This is 14 inches, and the coralla is so strong and thick. This was my favorite seedling of 2004. It roots easily and is a strong grower. Lets hope it is a deep pink like it was last summer. Then I will let it keep that name.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

We had a storm early this am and when I went out, I found some precious, teeny, tiny buds, they were so healthy and fuzzy and on the ground. Oh, well.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I should have taken a photo but I only looked at it thru the window. I am still trying to finish planting my coleus bed out front. They are still on. They are open and a light pink. Nothing to pant over. I can't wait till summer in the heat to see how dark they get.

Whitewater, WI

It looks great, Kell. The size alone is very impressive. Well, you know me.... they are all beautiful but pinks will always hold a special place in my heart. Soooo, I'm rooting for a big, strong, dark pink!!!!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Well Kell....here it is going on day #3. What happened???? What happened??? Did it get darker? I just gotta know!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Brinda. I took some pics yesterday but the sun was out (for the first time in days) and was glaring and ruined them. Then I was going to take some last night and I forgot! LOL. I came home late after work. I stopped at 2 Lowes buying roses. It was hard work.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

I planted most of my Brugs out yesterday, and the temps are in the 80s but now they say we will get bad storms this evening, grrrrr

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Comon kell ............. show all !!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I just LOVE this brug. She is so pretty and so BIG!!! She still has her pale winter color. She went thru several bad days of storms and the blooms are not tattered at all. Very strong.

Pretty Kell and the fact that is strong is definitely a plus. Did you post pictures of the blooms last summer when it was darker? I have no idea where to look because I don't recall you calling a brug Ruthie last year.

That is just what I expected her to look like! She is beautiful!!! I'm curious.....how did you come up with the name Ruthie?

Thanks all. Gee Laura, your weather is just terrible. Our winter lasted longer than usual too. But at least here the brugs can live out there in it.

Actually Frannie, I had totally forgotten I had called her Ruthie or actually I think I had just not even thought about it until I found some pods marked X Ruthie. You will remember her.
