black magic in shallow bog

could I put my black magic taro in my shallow bog? Its only about 8-12 inches deep and will get ALOT of sun this summer.

are they hardy in 7? I have mine in a wet spot like a bog but it drys out.

Mine are actually on a high shelf in my pond, so it is like they are in a bog. Half the pot sits in water, so the dirt in the pot stay pretty wet. Mine do great. This was last month when they were just waking up.

I keep my potted black magic in a large saucer of water and keep water in there at all times, so I bet it would do fine in a bog. This plant typically lives at the waters edge in nature.

I plan to take it in in the winter, my bog is shallow only about 12" deep and that is what concerned me.
