Kell's Rosamond in SC

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Hi Kell, a while back you were talking about your Rosamond, here is mine from your cutting. It starts out white, then turns light pink and the older blooms get darker but still not a dark pink.

Oh neat, they look so ummm luminous in the dark. Almost glowing! very pretty!!

The blooms are gorgeous. I bet warmer weather will darken them up but I think they look really nice right now.

those are lovely

It is such a pretty brug. Great pictures too!! But do you think it looks like Barbs?

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

I would have to look that photo up to compare, but as I recall it was darker. Do you remember where it was? We've had an unusually cool spring. It's still in a pot so I brought it up to the deck to enjoy.

Edited to say, thanks all for the comments. It's been a long wait but worth it.

Also their calyx was very low and the shape seemed different. I can't wait to see yours in summer. The color you have there, is the color I always get on it. I tis a very pretty brug though. I always have loved it.

I think it was a Barb thread. I will look.

Thanks Dick. Exactly. I had immediately forgotten all about finding it. I really need to find my mind one of these days.

Thanks Dick. You're right Kell, my calax doesn't hug like that. It does have the same little flip of the skirt.

The night shots are so perfect that they simply do not look real - very beautiful, so girlie and healthy, wow!!!!!

Thanks all, I'm really enjoying and I especially love being to bring it up on the deck with me. Guess that's the biggest advantage of having it in a pot, but I have a place already picked out where it will go in the ground when it finishes blooming.

Beautiful, Linda.

I LOVE that night shot! Very striking. I know things always look different when you take the pics in the dark. But for some reason they come out so very pretty. You see it against black rather than lighter colors.

Just gorgeous!!! I can't wait to have some pink blooms. PB is about to pop, and Insignis Coral is blooming now, but she's more of a coral pink. I sure love your Rosamond!
