Hi
I need a few ideas if I may,, for this area. I already have a kidney pond and it gets about 1/2 day sun,, the pond is ok as it is but I need back ground ideas. As you can see,, it is under a over hang. I need something to grow behind the pond along the wall to cover it. Any ideas?

I am assuming you would need something that would do well in the shade. You might make a woodland like garden behind there , depending on how much space you have you could have some hosta right behind the pond and then something taller behind those.
How about getting some of that synthetic stone; the stuff that is about 2 inches thick (or thereabouts) and cover the back wall with it. While you are at it, you could lay in a tube from the pump and make a cascade or a simple falls, or a more formal thing like one of those flat, lion-head spouts that attach directly to the wall?

WOW,, Now these are some cool ideas.. Thanks I will put my thinking cap on and see what I come with ,, with these ideas.. thanks. The space is about 16 foot x 8 ft x 6 foot.
