Just getting ready to head out this morning. We are off to Christina Lake where we are meeting up with DD and DSIL for a little camping. We have done this for Mother's day for the past couple years. They drive down from Summerland and we meet them at a lovely provincial park at Christina Lake. We usually have a fun time. I love camping. Anything outdoors is my kinda thing. Beside a lake is just icing on the cake. The best thing of all though, is I don't have to cook all weekend and a gift of plants or other garden stuff is always to be expected. Woo Hoo!!
I wanted to wish all of you Moms out there a wonderful day tomorrow and all you gals that aren't moms, have a lovely day too. :Donna
Happy Mother's Day!

LOL.....well Dawn I found a few beauties (not so sure they are that unusual tho). 4 very different (to me anyways) variegated brocade leafed scented Pelargoniums, 6 different Coleus I haven't noticed before: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/508230/ one heucherella that's new this year, and a very mysterious looking Trifolium repens.

Had a lovely time with my DD and DSIL. Weather was great and we had lots of fun and ate way too much. Got home just in time to receive a Happy Mother's Day call from DS from Edmonton. Wonderful Day! Hope every one felt appreciated as the wonderful Mom you are.
Here is a photo of my daughter Wendy and her husband, Kyle. Wendy is wearing a "boot" after a step aerobic rupture injury to her achilles tendon in February. Nasty condition!! And she is a Physical Therapist...go figure!! :D
What a lovely looking girl, Donna and spouse not bad, either. I'm so glad you had a good day. Dawn
Thank you, Dawn. :)
Beautiful daughter and lovely looking couple Donna. :)
Thanks Pam, she's my firstborn and I have always been so proud of her. :D
