What is the best thing to do...for cuttings?

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I have a brug, whose cuttings I have promised to a number of people. It is about 22" high and has never bloomed for me. I just obtained it last month.
My question is...should I make cuttings and send them now or wait until she grows alittle and then maybe get the cuttings after the Y ??? I would need to make the cuttings short if I get them now. How short can I make them?
Can you see the snails love the leaves...they had a party while I was away!
Will include a photo, but no name....those who I promised some to will know its name!

Gosh, hope it was me! LOL

It looks very small from the photo to be cutting on yet. At least to me.

I personally wouldn't take any cuttings until fall or at least late summer. And then you can send me one. lol!

I have to agree with the others, Margie. Too small to start cutting on at this point. Wait until it has some good growth on it this fall... JMHO.

Margie, I suggest that you put her in a box, at your very earliest convenience, and send her to me in Arky and I'll work out all those bothersome details for you, lol, and, hey, I won't even charge you a dime - okey dokey??!!

Put her down instead of in pot, wait till late summer she'll be so big and bloom for you. And then if you have spare cuttings count me in :-) It probably won't bloom in that pot (brug needs lots room to grow) Wenny

Well, it sounds like waiting a bit is the best way to go...good idea Wenny to plant her in the ground, so she will grow faster. Actually though I do have quite afew in containers that are blooming...but I am sure she will grow faster in the ground. I could use some good growth on this one especially.
Thank you for the advice all!
Margie
