I bought these a few months ago. The company waited to ship them till it was safe in my zone.
Well they came today and I was not impressed with their condition.
The tubers and what looks like roots were wet, black and soft. All parts feel spongy when you squeeze them. They were in a sealed plastic bag with shavings.
Is there any hope for them or were they DOA.
It's kind of hard to tell from the picture but they sure don't look to healthy, Terry. I would let them know.

I would wrap those back up immediately. 10-1, critters are gonna come out of there! I got ones like that from a store once. Little wormy things came out. If they don't have critters, they got frozen or had a bad time in that bag! Usually the tubers are firm and more light colored with burgundy or purple bumps or shoots. I would call that company right away!
My guess is that if they are soft, they are gone. I wouldn't accept them as healthy, at all.
I lightened your picture a bit. I don't think they are good anymore.
