Doris, my, she's a beauty!!, very classy lady like you!
Thanks for posting, she makes me smile.
Still waiting here in Buffalo for some blooms, but then again, we're always behind everybody when it comes to everything. LOL

Very GOOD job Doris!!! She's pretty!!!

Isabella has always been one of my favorites because she puts on one flush after another our hot summer sun and heat. Most of the other brugs slow down by mid summer and do not pick up until early fall. Doris, I hope she blooms her head off for you as she does me.

A very pretty lady she is! But you have me confused about multiple corollas on one flower?

A distant Sis is becoming an addict, and I recently sent her this, to help her with terms, and to show where to get pollen from other Brugs, and where to put it.
I hope I didn't confuse things....

What a huge bloom Doris. Too cool!!! I love it. I am so happy for you. I know you truly will appreciate it.

Great picture lagata. I have one I saved years ago from Dave's. I heard Poppysue did it. I used to refer to it all the time.

Good job too Kell :)

Isabella looks dainty and papery - very pretty. Actually, I like it in the faux terra cotta pot as well. Good Job!

A couple of handy reference pics as well!!

Super photos and info. Art in the Garden sent me Isabella (my new granddaughters' name) and now I can send the link to my son so he can see how really beautiful she is!!!

Your's is way simpler kell! I like it too.

If anyone here wants to use mine like kell did with the other one, I don't mind at all. Parts is parts, but which are which is really confusing at first!

Sis was at a total loss when I asked her if the color went all the way up the corolla tube; When I heard myself saying " the tubie part that sticks up out of the flower and goes into the green thing" I decided we needed pictures!

Sorry for sidetracking the thread Kareoke!

Very pretty, Doris. She's a good bloomer for me too.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Thank you scooter, I already had it bookmarked but when I tried with Isobelle there was no pollen. strange.

Early blooms do odd things sometimes; fall blooms too. I've had a couple of shredded pinks, creamsickle with shredded inner skirts, Fantasm without shredded skirts, stuff like that.
I've not seen a brug with just one anther yet, but may not have looked at the right one. I suppose anything can happen when plants are practicing, or tired from a season of blooming. It will no doubt remember the right way to do it by the time she blooms again.
She certainly has her color and shape figured out nicely!
