Thanks so much Shannon and kitties, Ingrid & Dillon and Donna. I'm at work unfortunately, but I get 3 hours away from my desk this afternoon - in a training session, but still away from my desk! The day started out wonderful, and with the temperature warming up is just going to get better and better. Thanks again.
Christine.

LOL! Yeah, I thought about that. I have used qtpiinla for 8.5 years (as long as I have been in LA). It will be strange not being in LA anymore... and having no use for qtpiinla. qtpiinphoenix seems kind of long though... and qtpiinlph or qtpiinaz don't flow as well. Oh well. Back to the drawing board. ;)
What do you have planned tonight? Is JC off?
Happy Birthday Christine. I'm glad it's going so well for you. I hope the coming year follows suit! :)
Cinco de Mayo. Guess who had a Cinco de Mayo party on cuartro (sp) de Mayo. One guess. We call him el s ------ or worse.

Happy Birthday, Christine!! Hope you're having a wonderful one!!

A very Happy Birthday Christine, may you enjoy many, many more of them.

"Almost" all by himself, eh? :-) The cats must've helped ... you know, supervising, taking care of anything that might happen to fall on the floor, that kind of thing.
Oohhh....good thing it was typed instead of said out loud....you would have had Franklin and Scruffy on your doorstep. :-) Hmmm....I wonder who could have taught them the meaning of that word....must have been their previous humans.....
Glad you're having a relaxing evening! How about taking tomorrow off, just to cap it all off?
That would be so nice....today's training session was brutal and I'm totally wiped, but at least I have a nice clean kitchen... Reminds me of a day after my B/D I did take off many, many years ago because of a massive hangover.... boy was the boss peeved at me...I'm sure he never forgot too...I sure didn't...lol.
Hey Christine,
Just seen this thread and thought i would wish you a Happy Birthday and many more!.....hope it was a good day for you.....btw, i am still waiting on roots but little mr. hindu rope is happy as a clam......take care and enjoy your day :)
Sandy
Happy Belated Birthday Christine. Sorry I'm late....I've been away. Anyhow, I hope it was a good one.
Sandy
Hi Sandy, thanks very much. It was a great birthday this year. All the wonderful wishes from my DG friends was really nice. The DH and I had a nice dinner out last night and today we and some friends are going into Ontario's fruit belt to do some garden centre hunting, and possibly a winery tour.
That sounds like fun. Did you buy anything interesting?
LOL, like I have control over whether I buy anything at a garden centre...
I bought a Blue Wonder Toad Lily, 2 hostas a Little Wine Cup DayLily, and two Filipendula vulgaris (Double Dropwort) (to put at the base of my new Sweet Autumn Clematis). Also 4 different colours of Diascia for my patio container garden, and a Pony Tail Palm a varegated Hindu Rope Hoya for in the house.
Today I go to just one nursery, so it shouldn't be as expensive (she says naiavely....
Christine.
Oh Boy! You're on a roll! LOL

WEll Christine, of course i scan your post and you got a var. hindu rope?....how did you manage that at a canadian nursery?? good haul and lucky you!......bet the hostas are nice too......i will keep you posted on the holliana.......they are still hanging in so i cant complain....how is that lacunosa cutting doing?.....
Sandy
I got it at Broadways in St. Catharines - it boasts 1,000,000 plants, and I can believe it. We went for bedding plants, but one of the first things I saw when we entered was a sign that said "House Plants", and I was lost... When I found everyone again, carrying it, one of my friends just roared laughing - "trust you to find a hoya here"! I'ts very cute, and fairly mature, but I've yet to take its picture - I will soon! The lacunosa is still very green and perky - I have it rooting in earth with a plastic baggie hat so haven't checked the roots yet...trying to be patient...lol.
Christine
Christine,
Glad to here the lacunosa is still nice and perky and i think its on its way to roots then.....wow, that nursery sounds like a large one....you are lucky....any hoya pic is a good one!!
Sandy
