Beautiful. What is the flower? a fuchsia?

Cape Fuchsia

That's right. Cape Fuchsia is the common name and the botanical name is "Phygelius".

They are beautiful plants . . . just love 'em.

I wonder if it would grow in TX? It is a beautiful plant and I know the hummers would love it.

It would. It is originally from S. africa but it doesn't bloom all year. Salvia is my choice for being hardy and producing the greatest amount of blooms all year and the greatest hummer interest.-Rich

Rich, I just got some salvias: s. gregii, s. jamensis, s. guaranitica, s. van houteii and a couple of others. I'm trying not to kill them. With the wind, salt and alkaline soil, it's an uphill battle.
There are so many hummers in the yard they even go after the lemon and banana flowers.
