would love to trade but please not dahlias, I overbought (again!)...unless you have spartacus : )
perennials, iris, deep rich colored flowers, water plants, other stuff?
CLOSED: Dahlias anyone?
Tatyana,
I would love the water lily type dahlias, Juul and pink/yellow tips. Water lily types are my favorites now.
I don't have a lot to trade since I am just starting out with a new house and land in the past 1 1/2 year. I do have some propagated perennials, annuals seedlings, and herbs seedlings. I can e-mail you what I have if you are interested or would you do a SASBE for the dahlias?
Thanks,
Carol
I have iris! Would love the water-lily type! One of each if you have them.
Thanks!
Deb

I would love some of both! If you're still looking for pond plants I have yellow flag iris, horsetail, chameleon plant and cattails. Please let me know if you would like any of these.
Thanks!
Suzanne
Tatyana,
If you have any of the Juul's left I would like to have some for postage or for some yellow Lemon lilies ,which are the first Daylilies to open in the spring,
Brigitte
zanna:
I would like to trade for chameleon plant and yellow flag iris. are your cattails the skinny or fat kind?
eglantyne:
I will send for postage--think I can sneak it in a bubble so it should be cheap : )
Deb, dont you send sevensisters the iris I have been waiting on :)
Sevensisters, dahlias as so pretty you are tempting me but lordy I dont need any more things that I need to stake and dig up :)
you could grow it as an annual : )
Thanks hon, I was just kidding... I do love dahlias, My granny had 2 long rows of those dinnerplates and I seem to remember her's getting VERY tall - of course..I was much shorter then :)
update:
i have left
1 red ball
3 yellow-peach dinner plates
6 juul's lotus (note: if you just want this one they are skinny and can go in a bubble)
+ several 'mystery' dahlias
they need to get planted soon or i'm afraid i'll have to toss 'em in the ol' compost
next year i'll post pictures, too. then no one will be able to resist!! ; )
Oh heck, dont compost those babies. I will take a few of each. My husband may kill me if he sees any more packages arrive. Can I paypal you the postage? Please send me a private message :)

I think Deb has all kinds of nice iris. For me, they are like daylilies and hosta, the more you see the more you want !
I can take any of these wonderful flowers. what do I have?? ummm nothing really on your list? Are you interested in some no name brug seedlings? I could send 4 or 5. LMK Mitch
OK y'all I think that may clean em up--esp if Charlotteda wants some doubles...
Let me recount and pack boxes today and repost if there's more left!
TT
If , you have any extras..just let me know.
Ingrid
One of these trades mentioned Chameleon plant. Hope it's Euphorbia Chameleon and not that weed, Houttayneia. I just spent 6 hours in two days getting it out and know I'm fooling myself because every tiny piece of root left behind will grow. It is definitely one of the most beautiful foliage plants with all the creams, green and red but it is terribly invasive. Plant it in a pot lined with cement!
right, pirl--I checked the plant files and saw LOTS of negative comments to that effect. warning took.
however, I practice Chinese medicine and the houttuynida is a very useful herb in the materia medica (AKA yu xing cao)--so I will grow it in a pot with some kind of barrier as you suggest!
but now I'm curious--Zanna, did you actually mean euphorbia? prob'ly not cause it's not a water plant.
No, I have the Houttuynia. I also read all of the negative posts, but since it will be potted in a pond I'm not concerned about it being invasive.
Tatyana, I sent you a PM yesterday. Did you get a chance to read it yet :) Let me know how many of each you would like and I can get it in the mail today. I'll be going out of town for the weekend. If you would rather me send it out Monday that's fine too, just need to know how much of what.
Thanks!
Suzanne
