My new (and first) babies.

Bothell, WA(Zone 7a)

I have these babies on my kitchen widow sill. I put them out in the sun (when there is any) and bring them in at night. It's been getting down to around
45 degrees at night. How cold can they stand? :)Donna

Hi Donna! They look real healthy! I keep mine out when its 40 and above at night. Ive even had some do ok when accidently forgotten at 35. I think it also depends on the species. Some take cool much better than others.

They look great, I had mine outside down to 42F with slight frost against the glass door. Good luck!!!! You'll have to post the Angels when they arrive!

Mine may have got nipped last night. Won't know until the sun hits them. The orchard is lower and had frost this morning. I hope not, but maybe they will be okay anyway.

You're on the road to nirvana Donna :)
When I first put the hoophouse up and moved plants out, the temp inside was down to 40 a few times when it was below freezing outside. Didn't seem to bother any of them and I just made sure no leafs were touching the glazing. I put a different heater in since then which keeps it around 58 at night.

Nice looking babies Donna.
If they have a fairly good root system they can handle the 45 degrees but if they are newly rooted I would wait until the night temps are 50 or above.

Yours look great! You will be enjoying blooms in no time.
I have left mine out into the low 30s,I don't recommend it though.
