Acer palmatum. They are everywhere in my yard. They come from the neighbor's Japanese Bloodgood tree, because it is a cultivar, there are many different leaf forms and colors. I leave them grow for a few years to see how they are turning out. I remove the common ones and keep the different ones.

I have a pink barrenwort in the garden. I don't remember the source, but noticed that most barrenwort are yellow or white. Any history on the pink variety? I love the varigated leaf color on this plant.

There are so many different colors now, violet, violet and white, yellow, yellow and white, orange, purple and different sizes, my data base crashed so I'm downloading everything, when I finish I'll check I can't remember the name of the one in your picture but I'm sure I have it. M
