Someone just sent me Japanese Trifele Black but it is too late for tomato seeds in zone 9. These were not on your list but you are welome to them if you would like them. Barb

Barb,

That would be great. My Sister and I are planting as many kinds as we can this year just for the fun of it. We both love tomatoes and I think we will get enough of them this year for everyone we know. :)

I will send postage. I will check the address exchange for addy. If it isn't there please send.

Thank you

Lomita, CA(Zone 10a)

We have Trip-L Crop. No need for postage, Barb will just send them out.

Oh Barb,

I hope you are feeling better very soon. Take care of yourself first and seeds last. I do thank you for the seeds.

Hi! Since I can type better than speak, I am back at DG! What a guy to do my posts for me, huh? I'll get your seeds out on Monday, as I'll be going to the PO to ship some plants, too.

My goodness, Barb (also), I hope you are feeling better. Nice to know you are back on DG. That was sweet of your husband to keep up with your posts for you. Barb in TX

He's the best! I have to be careful what ideas I suggest, as he's out the door and in his shop working on them before I can say..."what do you think?" He's my hands , my feet and lately my voice.

Barb, I hope you're recovering quickly! Sounds like you & DH are lucky to have one another. I can imagine how awful this sort of setback must be. Hang in there. Try to just take things as they come & go on from there, one thing at a time.... easier said than done! Be sweet to yourself, and let others be sweet to you too. I'm sure it's tough to let DH "do" for you when you're trying to be as independent as possible. You're both in my prayers.

Makshi, as many tomato seeds as I sowed this year, I only had one that was even on your list.... and I think they were all sowed! I'm trying a bunch of varieties this year as well. I'll only have a couple of plants of any given variety to save seed from, which I know isn't ideal, but that's all I could make room for! I ended up with several dozen "extra" seedlings, and they were quickly spoken for by friends & family..... I'm going to make them save seeds too! :-)

critter,

I am not sure if I am going to have room for the ones I have now. Julie (my sister) and I will between us have enough room though.

I sent you out some seed today also. Good luck with your project. Will have to let everyone know how it turns out. My husband is the materologist in the family and he only grows 3 or so varieties. Barb

Makshi,
What a great project!! Keep us posted! Wish I had at least one of those kinds, but sadly, tis not to be...

Would be great to put together a few seeds of each kind at the end of the summer so others could try planting lots of different kinds next year. I know I'd love to try that! Would be interesting, for sure!!

Good Luck to you and your sister! ~ Suzi :)

We will both be full of tomatoes that is for sure. I could eat a lot of tomatoes. I usually buy a container of grape tomato, and 3 or 4 of the others a week all winter. They are not as good as home grown but they are okay.

Flanders, NJ(Zone 6a)

Barb, good luck, and I hope ya feel better. Your Friend, from Jersey, Danny

Lomita, CA(Zone 10a)

Ooooooh! Another Jersey guy! Yeah! And, thanks, I am feeling a bit better.

This will be the first winter I have a GH so I will be trying to grow toms in there, too. Nothing like good Jersey tomatoes!

Barb
