Hi, just thought I'd pop my head in here and see what was up. I'm from Queen Creek, Arizona, and I'm a fledgling gardener wannabe. lol I don't have a real green thumb, but I'm wingin it the best I can. I haven't killed anything lately. lol
Hi from Arizona!
Howdy! I just replied to you on another thread. :)
What kind of gardener hasn't killed anything recently?
~A gardener with great luck! Spread it around!
Hi again, Judy! (I replied to you on another thread, too.) Yes, please do spread that green touch around -- sure could use it here, lol!
I'm in the process of possibly killing my avocado tree. I sweet talk it every chance I get. Not sure it's working.
This desert gardening is a real challenge. I have found that mulching like crazy is the key. I use alfalfa that has gone bad and that seems to work really well. WITH the exception of my wannabe DEAD avocado. lol
Welcome to the best place around to learn the art of gardening.
Hey Judy..welcome to "Daves" and it won't be long we'll have those thumbs all greened up for ya and you'll be a PRO!!...Jeanne
Thank you, thank you! I'm in the process of digging a rose garden. In the past, I've killed just about all the roses I stuck in the ground. I am doing it right this time. Lots of loose, mulchy soil. I hope it works this time. Over time I'm going to start adding roses until its thick with roses.
