If you or your kids like bananas you will LOVE this!
Much better than the banana pudding made with Vanilla Wafers
our Moms use to prepare for us. (hence the name)

"Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding"
1 bag of Pepperidge Farm Chessman Cookies
4-6 bananas, sliced
2 cups cold milk
(whole or 2% since low fat or skim doesn't set up as well)
1 - 5 oz. Instant French Vanilla Pudding
1 - 8 oz. full fat cream cheese softened
1 - 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
8 oz. Cool Whip or equal amount of sweetened whipped cream.
(I use home-made because we like the flavor better.)
Line the bottom of a 13" X 9" pan with whole cookies then cover with banana slices.
(as I recall it doesn't take 6 bananas. Maybe 4??)
In a bowl combine milk and pudding and blend w/ mixer.
In another bowl combine softened cream cheese and sweetened milk until smooth.
Fold whipped cream into into cream cheese mix.
Add cream cheese mix to the pudding until blended.
Pour over bananas.
Crumble up any left over cookies and sprinkle on top.
Cover with plastic warp and refrigerate 4-6 hours before serving.
