Brugmansia Maya
Quelle excitement
G
what colour will it be?
lucky you.
Thanks ladies :) ........ here's a link to it's color http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/53828/index.html edited to say the color is peachy.
Kell says the bud should be variegated but it is it's first one so variegation, if ID is correct, may show up on later buds.
The leaf variegation itself is outstanding on this beauty: white, green and blue green.

and another striped bud, this one today also, is Snowbank.
I'm not meaning to up stage you, just wanted to show different varigation onthe buds. This little guy is standing straight up! I've never seen my Snowbank bloom, it's always dropped it's blooms, but the plant is looking much happier this year.
Thanks Linda! Ü Now I'll know exactly what to look for. :)
Your Peaches and Cream and Snowbank look wonderful........I've grown and lost PC (never noticed the variegated buds tho). How exciting it will be for you to see Snowbanks first bloom!!! Ü
How exciting Pam! Congratualtions! You must keep us posted on it's progress. I can't wait until I have my "first". Should be this summer. :)
Thanks Donna :) ......I'm positive you will be tickled pink! The first sighting I had of a Brugmansia in bloom (in person) made me fall madly in love with it. The book Shocking Beauty reinforced it. ;)
