I just bought some Messenger at a local nursery and the instructions said that it must be applied within 4 hrs. of being mixed. Also, you can't just mix what you want because it says that the opened container will go bad. For those of you that use it, is this true? I suppose I could spray my hoyas and use the rest to water them. It makes a gallon at a time and if I have to respray every 10 to 14 days, this could get expensive.

HI...You can use just enough...say 1/4 teas. for 1 qt. and wrap the left over granules in a glass jar and put in the fridge. I am sure that would work.
