You certainly have a nice collection of beautiful passionflowers. The pictures are gorgeous. Barb

P. Triloba is gorgeous. I've never met a passiflora that I didn't like, but some are really special. This one would have to go in that category. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Awesome.

Wow, beautiful blooms.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Gorgeous pictures. The first ones of the triloba make me think of a sea anemone. Beautiful color.

I agree with Shirley. You have an impressive collection, but P. triloba is very special. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you everyone. I noticed something very odd about Triloba today. The Corona filaments have 2 very distinct rows with the outside row being much shorter than the inside row. Second thing was that the filaments are very thick and kinda flat on two sides, like a board, not round. Odd shape actually, I've had this plant before and never noticed that.

For anyone who hasn't seen them yet, the links below should (I hope) take you to two different passiflora photo albums that I have online.
thanks,
Mark

Man you gotta root me some cuttings of those babies for our upcoming plant trade. I've found a method that makes rooting Passiflora cuttings effortless and you can buy this product for 20$ and get 50 cuttings to root in 2 weeks literally. I used them for the first time 2 weeks ago and I put in some other plant cuttings for expiramenting. I have tropical hibiscus, ficus tree and a few other hard to root plants and they are all rooting as well as putting on new growth! All I have down to them is mist them once a week to keep everything moist and keep them under flouro lighting and humidity domes.
The product is called "Rapid Rooter" and I'm going to start a new thread in this forum explaining in detail all about them. Please take a minute to look at my new topic and consider trying this. Thanks, JD

JD, can't start cutting on the Triloba yet. It only has 1 branch and I am trying to cross the flower from the other day, and then there is one more bud on it right now. The flower and the bud were at the very end of the plant so there is nothing to cut yet. Sorry,
Mark
