Wow...what a deal! Is that how hefty the base of the mama plant has to be before it will have bananas?...never mind the babies, too! Planted bananas from the Feb. central Florida Round-up and am pleased that they have put out several leaves each since winter. Don't know what kind of bananas I have. I guess it's a waiting game. But like a watched pot.... :)
