Lotus waking up

My lotus is waking up. She is now putting pads up in the air. I am hoping for a bloom this year.

Which Lotus do you have? The only one I have seen bloom in my own pond is lutea. It is a lovely clear yellow.

I have no idea which it is. I bought it at the master gardeners sale last year. It grew well but did not bloom . I am hoping for a bloom this year.

I'm getting some lotus seed from Kaleem in exchange for hostas. I can't wait to give them a try! Yours is inspiring and beautiful! Wish the weather up here would warm up a bit! You down south-ers are so far ahead of us with your plants! Keep posting!
