I have tried them several time throughout the years, they fllower once for me and always disappear the next Spring. Would you know of a way to get them to bloom at least a second year? They are so showy!

Thank you! I snapped this pic in my neighbor's yard to help him identify it since the previous owner had passed away. I'm not even certain that this particular plant blooms every other year, as my neighbor seemed quite surprised to see it after five years or so. :)
