Ooh ..I'm sorry Val..I've overlooked this thread. Of course I 'll send you seeds ...gladly : ) I have another beautifull clematis (C. heracleifolia ) http://www.esveld.nl/htmldia/c/clhera.htm
I 've grown it from seeds that someone send me...last summer it has bloomed for me beautifull..so I think it can come true from seeds. I 'm not sure if C. recta purpurea will do this...probably it does because C. recta is a species...I 'm not sure about 'purpurea'.. When they 've set seeds I 'll send some seeds of both.. I still have your addy.
