This Fir tree had to come down a couple weeks ago 'cuz it got too big.Being in a raised planter,3 feet in both directions from the property corner,surrounded by a big wisteria,cherry trees and landscaping,it was a bit difficult to take it down,much less get a stump grinder in there.So I dig a little,hydraulic dirt out a little,etc,but now one wonders if it will in fact come out.However,a friend who is an excellent chainsaw carver might be able to turn it into a tortise, or octopus,with a few missing tentacles maybe.
