How large are the bushel baskets?

Robin,

Well, let me see. They would have been larger if I had been able to feed and water better. I think they were 22" dia.

Are these bushel baskets very strong when they dry out; like to use as a real Basket or Flower pot too?

Like this one? Hard-shelled Giant Gourd 'Bushel 120+ lbs' (Lagenaria siceraria) http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/53226/

They aren't bigger. They are very hard. To me they are as hard as hard plastic and would make a great planter. You just couldn't go slaming them down on concrete.

I am going to make a lamp out of one of my martin house guords.

You can stick some in with the other seeds I requested. I have other seeds I'm sending along also; since you've been so nice to me in sending a lot of extras to me.
