Lime Zinger

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I have two Lime Zinger ears, and they came from two different places(one was called Golden Delicious, but they are listed as the same in PF). I don't think these are exactly alike. One is much larger than the other, has rounded tips instead of pointy, grows pups away from the base as opposed to the other one which grows pups right up against the main stem. What do you think?

susie, did you get the one on the right from me? It looks like the ones I grow. Where did you get the rounded end one?

They look great!

The one on the right looks like the one I had.

I got the big one from a gal at a nursery in TN and the other one came from Eclipse. I also got one from Jody, but not the one in the picture.

Please save me a pup Susie!!! What Nursery in Tn. did you find them in? Ears are hard to find around here! I hit Stanleys today and they had a few, but, all but one were Ears I already have. I picked up one labeled Alocasia Mark Campbell. Has anyone heard of a name even close to that? It sort of resembles A. cuphrea (sp?), but, is pretty small. Stanleys also had some interesting Salvia Suz, so let me know if you want me to pick any up for you. There were some really pretty colors.

I LOVE salvias Mel.
The Mark Campbell is one from Agristarts isn't it? An alocasia right?
I got the one ear from that gal Rita, she brings a truck around (I know Thress's nursery buys from her) She's from west TN, over by Jackson. She was the president of the TFGA, I can't remember the name of her nursery, but she is where I got the purple sugar cane, some variegated salvia(that I forgot to dig up and bring with me) and a lot of unusual stuff.

SUZ, does this mean you want me to pick up one of each color salvia for you or just buy out Stanleys? We need to coordinate times so I can call you from Stanleys. Can you receive pictures on your cell phone?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I meant to call you last night, but by the time I got the plants watered and the dog walked, it was late. When are you going to Stanley's? My cell doesn't receive pictures, I didn't think I wanted a picture cell phone, but now I wish I had one.

You know how much I HATE having to go to Stanleys! It will be a real chore, but, I guess I can do it for you!

Paul brought home the camera phones. I have used the camera only a couple times and would have to get the manual out to figure out how to send a photo. You can take a picture of someone and the photo will show when someone calls. I took a photo of Paul leaned over behind the bar getting a beer out of the fridge. (You know the plumber pants...crack problem??) Now when he calls, I tell everyone, inlcuding him, "Oh look, the ass is calling!!

I know you just HATE to go to Stanley's!
How is your weather? Is it warm enough for me to send your plants?
Poor Paul, bless his heart, he has a rough life. I think you should buy him a new fishing lure(that way he won't say anything about the trip to Stanley's)
