Dahlia tubers

Is there anyone in DG that just loves dahlias like I do.

My grandfather had a beautiful dahlia garden and I used to as a kid just love to walk thru it.
I moved to a new house with no yard in Dec. 2003, so I spend last year getting it in shape.
I planted about 40 dahlias tubers last spring. I got them for a good deal, 20 tubers for $20 times 2 separate growers.
I didn't dig them up last fall since here in Oregon, you can just leave them in the ground. I was kind of scared of doing this since I thoroughly enjoyed my flowers last summer and fall.
But, most of the dahlias are coming up now. YEAH!

So I am wondering if there is anyone who would do SASE or SASBE (bubble or box) for dahlias. In time, I will be able to trade but not just yet.

I used to grow quite a few dahlias several years ago and am just getting back in to them this year. I live in a wooded area now, so as we open up more space to the sun, more dahlias will come-I love them! I started with a pastel mix of spider types this spring and can't wait to enjoy dahlias again. Hopefully we'll both be ready to start trading them in a year or two-sounds like you got a great deal. You may want to try posting what you're looking for on the trading forum. I've seen that some folks were offering them for trade or SASE. Good luck, Neal. PS-try to post some pics when your dahlias bloom, it should be breathtaking!

Oh, dear. I didn't write this correctly.
I am asking people for dahlias. I do not have any for SASE.
I am sorry, Deb, if you misunderstood my thread.
But with time, I will hopefully have tubers to trade or SASE.
