McClure & Zimmerman, blowerbulb brokers

anybody had recent experience with this company? watchdog profile is not too flattering but the negative feedback is not recent. They have green goddess calla bulbs for 4.95, I paid $10 ea last spring, sounds like a deal to me.

Watch them, ordered lily bulbs from them last spring and recd. bulbs that were shriveled and dead.
They stood behind them, but that wasn't what I wanted. I wanted the variety of lily that I had ordered.

Green Goddess is $7 from Brent and Becky's- I think I would trust them more for a couple more bucks. I've had my eye on that one to-just getting in to callas this year. I'll post if I come across any more good deals on them. Good luck, Neal

I've been ordering bulbs from them for years and have never had any problems.

Gemini they are great. mine did not bloom first year, but 2nd year they did in Jan. 2005 and plant is nice and strong. planted in ground in part sun/part shade. And yes, pls post if you hear of any deals.

Have not ordered from them, although I get their catalogue twice a year. I haven't done so because I find most of their prices are way too high for the items in which I'm interested. But they have a pretty good reputation overall, and if you know you're getting a bargain I'd go ahead and order from them.
