My Newest Hibiscus........

This little plant I picked up last week. It had no "name" which doesn't bother me a bit. I haven't had one like this before. It was just sticking out for me on a table with no others like it.

It's called "Edward La Plante" an older hybrid....slow growing and kinda dwarfish compared to others..but a very nice hybrid..I like it too! :-)

Is the outer edge really as yellow as it looks?

I was going to guess Mrs. Jimmy Spangler as well. I have one and it sure does look similar.

Yes, the edges are really that yellow. It does look like one in the links. Funny thing about that...I saw a pic of one someone posted somewhere at DG by Tropicman??? and commented how much I would like to have one. I generally don't see many variations where I live but I am thrilled to have this one.
